Tuesday, March 11, 2014 On Tuesday March 11th, at 0725 the Hillsborough Fire District was dispatched to Black Point Road for the reported smoke condition in a residence. Chief 36 arrived on scene and assumed command, while Chief 48 took Operations. Chief 36 confirmed a smoke condition in the residence and advised responding units of a possible fire within the wall next to a fireplace. Mini Attack 48 arrived and stretched an 1 ¾“ line into the residence while crews from Stations 36 ad 37 went to work overhauling the wall and floor in question. Smoldering debris was removed and hot spots were extinguished with a water can. All units cleared the scene at 1045.
