Saturday, May 31, 2014 On Saturday May 31st from 0900 – 1700, Flagtown Fire held its first apparatus work detail of the year. Chief Foelsch organized the work detail for the purpose of thoroughly inspecting and cleaning Engine 36 and its equipment. During the 8 hour work detail, members stripped all the equipment and hose off the apparatus. The truck was meticulously cleaned inside and out. All the equipment was carefully inspected, repaired as needed, and cleaned. In addition all the hose was power washed. As Chief Foelsch stated, “This work detail proved necessary to make our jobs easier and make sure the equipment we depend on to do our jobs is ready for service.”

A very special thank you to our Associate members for coming down to the firehouse early and cooking a delicious breakfast for us to enjoy.
