On Monday March 9th at 1442, Stations 36, 37, and 48 were dispatched along with Rescue 79 to River Road for a reported overturned motor vehicle with entrapment. Chief Fire Marshal Weniger arrived on scene, established command, and confirmed an overturned motor vehicle with heavy entrapment. Rescue 79 began extrication operations with assistance from members of Station 36 and the Fire Marshals. Engine 36 and Brush 36 stood ready for fire suppression operations while units form Stations 37 and 48 manned the landing zone. The patient was successfully extricated from the vehicle and flown from the scene for treatment. All units cleared the scene at 1539.
