On Saturday July 25th at 0800 members from 36 Fire joined members from 37 & 38 Fire at the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy (SCESTA) for our first District organized drill. Members practiced basic ladder operations, vent enter search, hose evolutions and completed a maze in black out conditions while being hung up on wire and rope to hone survival skills. Car 36, Ladder 36 and Brush 36 crews participated in all stations and concluded the day in the burn tower with 2 evolutions of live fire drills. Some 36 members even participated in a RIT evolution of rescuing a down and injured firefighter. This drill proved to be a great learning experience while practicing next to fellow district firefighters from other stations. Thank you to the academy instructors for taking the time to make sure we all got it right!Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 001 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 003 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 005 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 009 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 010 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 011 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA 014 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Foelsch 001 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Foelsch 002 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 001 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 002 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 003 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 005 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 006 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 007 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 008 Fireground Tactics Drill - 07-25-2015 - SCESTA - Mike 012
